Awards we've received:
In 2000-2001, our club received Alpha-Beta Province nominations for Ideal Club,
Communications, Evelyn Peters Kyle and Emma Harper Turner awards.
In 2003-2004, under the leadership of Kathy Gadler, the Lake Oswego-Dunthorpe
Alumnae Club was named as a "Top 10" club in the country. That was quite an achievement!
In 2005-2006 our club was honored
with two Pi Beta Phi awards, the Club of Superior Performance and an Excellence in Communication. The Club of Superior
Performance is the second highest level a club can achieve.
In 2006-2007, under the leadership of Debbi Monahan, we received the following
international awards, Club of Excellence and Excellence in Communication. The Club of Excellence Award is
the highest level that a club can achieve (with the exception of the one club named Premier Club). Maja
Berge was the Region Five nominee
of the Evelyn Peters Kyle Award for club service.
In 2007-2008, under the leadership of Sharon Odman, we received a Club of Excellence
award. We accidentally missed the deadline for the Excellence in Communication award ... lesson learned!
In 2008-2009 under the leadership
of Missy Gerber, we received our third Club of Excellence award as well as an Excellence in Communication Award. In addition, Jeanne
Krouse Bliss was the Region Five nominee of the Evelyn Peters Kyle Award for club service. Mari Lou Psihogios Diamond was
a Carolyn Helman Lichtenberg Crest Award for Community Service winner.
In 2009-2010 under the leadership of Missy Gerber and Alison
Burcham, we received our fourth Club of Excellence award as well as an Excellence in Communication Award. AND ... we won the
INTERNATIONAL award for Excellence in Communication!! Kudos to Susan Maxwell and her team for a job well done.
In 2010-2011 our club won a Club of Excellence Award
for the fifth year in a row. We also won an Excellence in Communication Award..
Over the years, we have won several
awards at the Fraternity level as well as nominations for various awards at the region, formerly province, level.
